My Anime Homepage

Hello, hello, hello!! Welcome to my homepage!! Its not much right now, since I'm just a baby at HTML, but it will improve, I promise!! Untill I get the whole site up and running, I will be updating every day, (unless life drastically gets in the way, hey, it could happen). Updates will be found right below. At the bottom of the page you'll find all of my links, and an explanation about what each one is. I've got big plans for this site, so mark it in your favorites and come back once a week or so to see what's new!! Enjoy!!
This is my homepage dedicated to linking together all of my other pages, each of which happens to be on a specific anime series: aka. Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Magic Knight Rayearth, etc. Now why would you make a website about various anime shows? you ask. Another good question. Here are my reasons.
  1. First off, the animation. Its awesome. Plain and simple. The people are so pretty, and the lines are smooth and connected together, and the eyes are just beyond words, the expressions, the hair, (the hair color!!), and when they get SD, (super deformed), they're just sooo cute, and etc. etc. etc. --- Well, as you can see, I could go on and on for practically forever, but I'm not that cruel, so on to the next reason!!
  2. Second, the animation is soooo much better than anything we've got over here. Plus, you want special effects? What better than what you can draw? Some of that stuff is just too cool. Three reasons. Here they are.
    • Have you ever seen Rugrats? Doug? They're nasty, ugly little creatures with no facial expressions or anything, and so ugly, it just, oh, I really don't like it!!! But don't get me wrong, the shows are ok and when my little brother or sister watch them I'll sit and watch them too, (sometimes), but the animation just kills me.
    • Ok, you say, what about other cartoons that aren't Japanese but aren't like Rugrats? What, you mean spiderman or something? Those try to be too life-like. There's just so much you can do with those kinds, and they tend to be really bland. At least in Rugrats or Doug you can have the unusual colored hair and stuff.
    • Alright, then what about Disney shows? Well, what about them? They are kind of a mix of what I just said, too life-like, and something else that I can't quite pin down. But out of everything, they are second best to real anime.
  3. Third, story line, STORY LINE!!! American cartoons have little to no story line whatsoever!!! Think about it, really, they are usually just a base group of characters doing one thing after another with no definite ending or beginning, no flow, no anything. Anime, on the other hand, is like watching, well, a couple things.
    • First, there are the really really really looooong ones like DBZ or Sailor Moon or Pokemon or something that have tons of episodes each. Those are like watching a tv series like Star Trek or something that has 3+ seasons, except with animation. Cartoons with plot for people who like animation but also like a story line.
    • Second, there are the sort of long ones like Rayearth, Gundam Wing, or Outlaw Star. These shows are like watching a tv series that only aired one season. Again, cartoons with a story to them so that people who like animation can have something sophisticated to watch.
    • Third, there are the short ones with maybe a couple hours for the whole thing, ex. Blue Sub Six, Princess Mononoke, Macross Pluss. It's just like watching a movie.
  4. They're completely flexible! You're anime could be about anything at all, and it would work. Fantasy, Sci-fi, Romance, Action/Adventure, Drama, Historical, Humorous, whatever, you got it! And they can mix and match as well. Most anime, no matter what type they are, have at least a little humor.
  5. There's more, tons more, but I'm afraid that I might be boring you with my ranting and raving. So I'll leave off of this for now and get on to some of the good stuff, ok? Ok!!

Ok, and now for the good stuff. Below you will find links to my various pages, each with lots of stuff to ponder and explore and see and think about and look at and admire and... Well, whatever you like to do when visiting other people's webpages. And, for your convenience, I've put a description next to each one, so that you, my esteemed visitor, can decide which pages you want to visit BEFORE you go there. That way, you don't waste any time. Oh! And one more thing. On each of these series pages, you will find links to all of the stuff, like galleries, character profiles, opinions, fanfics/fanart, story synopsis, etc. The links on this page that are called galleries, fanfics/fanart, etc. lead to one page that has links to each of the specific series pages for each of those subjects. Ex. Say you went to my Rayearth page, and then clicked on the link to go to the gallery. You would arrive at the Rayearth gallery, and then get to choose which character and so on. If, however, you were to click on the galleries link on this page, you would go to a general page from which you could link to any of the galleries, and then choose a character, and so on. So that way, if you have no interest in learning all about each series, but just want to see the wonderful art I've been telling you about ever since you got here, you could bypass the series pages and go straight to the art!! Isn't it wonderful?!? Modern technology these days. What is this world coming to?

Links that are only on this site, that pertain to this site, and nothing else!!

Links that go to pages about different series!!

Dragon Ball Z    Allright, this goes to my main Dragon Ball Z page, on which you'll find links to galleries, character profiles, plot summaries, and so much more!!

Links that have matches on each of the series pages!!
